The LOST Lottery

So the winning numbers for the $355 MILLION dollar jackpot are eerily similar to Hurley's fictional numbers on LOST...and since we all know TV is actually real life, it must mean a conspiracy is brewing.

Last night's (real) winning numbers were:

4, 8, 15, 25 and 47, with the "Mega ball" 42

The "Lost" numbers:

4, 8, 15, 16, 23, with the "Mega number" 42

Perhaps this is why all those dead birds fell out of the sky along the eastern seaboard and all those fish died?

Perhaps this is why it snowed in Southern California and Las Vegas?

Perhaps this is why I gained 10 pounds over the Holidays? Oh wait. Scratch that. No conspiracy there. Just chocolate.

I don't know if this means the end of the world or not, but I do have one hope...

that Sawyer swoops down and whisks me away

Sorry, Sean. But if the world's gonna end... I mean....look at those abs. Need I say more?

First of all - I just happened upon your blog the other day and I love it already! I am glad to know that I am not the only one out there who is looking forward to Britney's next album in 2011!

And secondly - you're not the only one who noticed the Lost connection in the lottery - my local newspaper had a report on it today:

Hi Marie! I've been reading your blog for the past couple of months and always look forward to your new posts.

The reason I finally commented is that I've been planning to go get a masters in the UK for a while now (I'm currently in DC, FYI), and as I'm starting to get overwhelmed in the process I thought, who better to ask than QQ?

So if you have any advice on the application process, financial aid, etc., I would love to hear it! Thanks so much!

I have never watched even a minute of Lost, but that connection is still creepy...
